• On-field behaviour
    • All teams and players are expected to arrive at their match at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of play (except for the semi-finals and finals where teams will be expected to arrive 1 hour ahead).
    • Players are expected to play their cricket hard but fairly and accept all decisions by the umpire as final.
    • All players are expected to shake hands with the umpires and opposition at the conclusion of play.
    • Playing positively may include putting pressure on the opposition, aggressive body language, and other legitimate tactics.
    • Personal abuse, racial or other abuse directed at the opposition, umpire, spectator or team will not be tolerated under any circumstance and may result in either the player/s or team being excluded from the tournament.
    • The fielding team must appeal for a wicket to the umpire before assuming the dismissal or celebrating as a sign of respect for the umpire, the opposition and the game.
    • Violence of any kind will not be accepted under any circumstances and may result in police involvement.
  • Fair play
    • The following should be avoided by all players. Failure to do so may result in penalties.
      • Changing or altering the condition of the match ball through actions that may be associated with 'ball tampering'
      • Deliberately distracting or obstructing the batsmen
      • Dangerous and unfair bowling
      • Continuous time wasting by batsman or fielding side
  • Off-field behaviour
    • Infinity Cricket may have affiliations with other businesses, non-profit organisations or cricketing bodies and players and teams are expected to carry and conduct themselves in a professional manner during the Infinity Cricket tournament and at all Infinity Cricket events. The team captain will bear the responsibility to ensure this. Any disruptive or unprofessional behaviour will be met with penalties.
  • Openness and inclusiveness
    • Players participating in the Infinity T20 Cricket Tournament should not engage in any behaviour that offends or insults another person on the basis of their race, religion, colour, or nationality. Cultural diversity should be encouraged and promoted.
    • Whilst focussing on winning should be a key objective for all teams, efforts should be made to ensure that no member of their squad feels uninvolved.
